How it works
1Install
Upload the plugin in WordPress and enter your licence key or start the trial.
2Connect Merit
Enter the API ID and key from Merit Aktiva (Settings → API settings).
3Set up
The setup wizard maps your VAT rates, articles, customers and payment methods to Merit.
Features
Totals match
The invoice total in Merit always equals the WooCommerce order total.
VAT
Each tax rate is linked to a Merit VAT code and account, including EU reverse charge and OSS.
Refunds
Full and partial refunds become credit invoices that refer to the original invoice.
Invoice numbers
Shop invoices get their own number series. The order number is shown on the invoice.
Customers
Private buyers go to one Merit customer or each get their own. Companies are found by VAT number or registry code, or added.
Payments
Paid orders are marked paid in Merit on the payment date, for the payment methods you choose.
Reliable
Each order is sent once. If Merit cannot be reached, sending is retried automatically.
Invoice PDF
Optionally, the Merit invoice is attached to the "Order completed" e-mail.

Which Merit Aktiva plan do I need?
The API is included in Merit's Pro and Premium plans.
How does the trial work?
Install the plugin and start the trial on its Licence screen. The key is e-mailed to you and works on one shop for 14 days.
Are my existing orders sent?
No. Only orders completed after installing are sent. Older orders can be sent by hand from the order list.
What if the licence expires?
Sending pauses. Waiting orders are sent automatically once the licence is renewed.
Does a staging copy send invoices?
No. A licence works on one shop address, so a copy of the site never sends to Merit.
Where does my data go?
Straight from your shop to Merit. Your API keys are stored encrypted in your own WordPress. Tarkva only sees the licence key.
What are the requirements?
WordPress 6.4, WooCommerce 8 and PHP 8.1 or newer.
